SIHImulti “MS” Series Start-up
§Follow installation and alignment procedures
§No piping loads on pump flanges
§Suction piping to pump must be in accordance with IOM recommendations
§Ensure proper rotation prior to initial start-up
§Operate pump on the pump performance curve. Avoid running at either end of the pump curve for prolonged periods
§Operate pump within temperature and pressure limits of the pump
§Monitor pump operation. Investigate high temperatures or vibration problems.
§Liquids pumped should be clean without solids
