SIHI Milestones

1920  Founding of Siemen & Hinsch (SIHI) in Germany, Darwins foundry and LaBour pump company.

1970  Creation of SIHI Engineered systems in Toenning. SIHI acquires HALBERG Maschinenbau GmbH (Ludwigshafen).

1980  TBG acquires Darwins and LaBour and also 50% of SIHI shares. Remaining 50% of SIHI shares retained by the Siemen Family. HALBERG acquires Balcke-Dürr AG’s pump program.

1991   Research company (SIC) created in Itzehoe.

1996  100% of SIHI acquired by TBG to form Sterling Fluid Systems Group.

2000  Restructuring of Sterling Fluid Systems in focused Market Divisions.

2009  Rebranding  of Sterling Fluid Systems B.V. to SIHI B.V.

2015  Flowserve take over SIHI Pumps.
